I’m Alon Shabo and I’m a professional pastry chef. I lead confectionery workshops and have managed the confectioneries of high-end restaurants including Shulchan and the Dining Room, Tel Aviv. After attending the High School of Culinary Arts, I traveled the world to hone my craft, learning from the very best international pastry chefs.
I am passionate about the art of baking. I believe confectionery should be both delicious and aesthetic. I love drawing inspiration from other arts, particularly graphic design and architecture. For me, macarons represent the perfect meeting point of design and taste. They are colorful, flavorful, sophisticated and irresistible: if you haven’t got the macaron fever already you’ll have it after taking this course!
